 Giving more details in this regard, the Education Minister added that the present state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani-Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel has decided to recruit youth at a noble price to provide comprehensive employment to the youth in the field of education.

 Giving a detailed introduction to this decision, Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that in the non-government aided colleges of the state, 328 teaching assistants will be recruited centrally.

 The Education Minister also added that 428 faculty assistant services for various subjects will be available in the state colleges after the completion of this recruitment.

 The Education Minister said that for this recruitment of Professor Assistants, online application has to be made till January 20, 2018 and more details of recruitment will be available from the website www.rascheguj.in.

 Along with this, the state government will recruit a total of 5300 education assistants in non-government secondary and higher secondary schools of the state, the education minister said.

 Accordingly, 3 new teaching grants will be appointed in the new non-government aided higher secondary schools and 2908 teaching assistants in the new non-government aided secondary schools.

 Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinhji while giving details of the 8 education assistants to be recruited in the non-government aided higher secondary schools of the state said that 428 for English subject, 3 for Account and Commerce subject, 3 for Sociology subject, 24 for Economics subject, Rs. Subject teaching assistants will be recruited.

 Similarly, in non-government aided secondary schools, 108 for mathematics-science subject, 42 for English subject, 24 for social science subject, 24 for Gujarati subject and a total of 408 teaching assistants for other subjects will be recruited.

Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinhji expressed confidence that the new workforce of skilled manpower in the field of education would contribute in shaping the careers of the students of the state with the availability of young education assistants in these 212 new posts in the visionary planning of the Chief Minister.

Amendment announcement regarding recruitment of Professor Assistant

In this advertisement, inclusion of approximately 15 posts of 09 new subjects is coming. These vacancies will be subject to change involving vacant professors.

શિક્ષકોમાં આનંદો: શિક્ષણમંત્રીની જાહેરાત

The Gujarat government has protected the newly appointed teachers in the subsidized schools from becoming redundant. Today, Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama has announced that,

Any newly appointed subsidized secondary or higher secondary school teacher-employee will not face the question of losing a job due to class-school closure.

The Education Minister added that the state government led by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel has taken various decisions in the interest of teachers and staff. In view of the representations made by these teachers and staff, the sensitive Chief Minister of the state has taken this decision in the interest of one more teacher.

The minister added that as a result of this decision, if a vacant teacher is appointed instead of re-appointing to fill the vacancy, the lengthy process of filling the vacancy will be avoided and the trained experienced teacher will be given the job and the schools will get experienced teachers quickly. Teachers who want to change schools will be able to take advantage of this provision and go to their desired school as there is a provision for recruitment of old teachers for the teachers who are currently on duty. As such, permanent protection will not be abused to obtain an appointment near / far from a distant place as an alternative to transfer.

He added that due to non-protection of surplus, teachers of subsidized secondary and higher secondary schools are recruited in government secondary and higher secondary schools. Doing so deprives students of non-government aided schools of teachers.

 As many as 50 teachers from subsidized schools have resigned in the recent recruitment of government higher secondary education assistants. Giving permanent protection to teachers in vacancies will not impose any new financial burden on the state government when they are made redundant and relocated.

The decision will benefit about 70,000 state-funded secondary and higher secondary school teachers.
